The first function of the vertical mill disc is to support the bed and
transmit the force generated by the roller to the lower reducer, which also
transmits the torque of the reducer to the grinding area. Together with the air
duct, the grinding disc forms a ring chamber from which the air flows out and
enters the grinding chamber through the ventilation ring.
