Tunnel Racking

Tunnel Rack – Radio shuttle rack

Storage system in which high-density, 1200×800 or 1200×1000 pallets are moved
inside tunnels, a car satellite remote-controlled and equipped with photocells
for the position under the pallet.

The car satellite is powered by two sets of removable batteries so that they
can be recharged without stopping.

The movement of the pallet to the entrance of each tunnel is made by
traditional truck. The second storage system can be FIFO or LIFO.

Ability to integrate WMS (warehouse management software).

Achieve high density storage

You can stack pallets far deeper with shuttle racking than any other racking,
enabling you to really maximise your warehouse space.

Maintain accessibility

Despite storage being high density, the shuttle gives you individual access
to each storage tunnel.

Increase productivity

While the shuttle transports the load to and from the face of the racking and
loads the lane, your truck operator is free to work elsewhere, increasing your
handling capacity. You can also send the shuttle into the tunnel to count or
reorganise the pallets or move them closer to the unloading point.

Switch rotation models easily

You can switch from a first in, first out (FIFO) system to a last in, first
out (LIFO) system at the push of a button.

Minimise damage

The shuttle handles pallets in the rack, so the risk of damage is
minimised.
