Plasma powder overlay welding process uses water-cooled copper nozzle to compress the arc column of free arc, so as to make the energy more concentrated and the gas in the arc column fully ionized. Such arc is called plasma arc.

Such arc is called plasma arc. The plasma arc energy is highly concentrated and the temperature reaches a very high degree ( about 1 ~ 20,000 degrees ). The generated high temperature rapidly heats and melts the alloy powder with the substrate surface, forming a high-quality alloy welding layer on the substrate surface.
