Precautions

Surface Preparation:

Ensure the surface is flat, dry, and clean, free of oil, dust, loose particles, and other debris. Newly laid cement floors should be allowed to fully cure and dry, generally recommended for at least 50 days. Cleaning with dilute hydrochloric acid may be necessary to prevent alkali reversion.

Material Preparation:

Epoxy floor paint is typically a two-component material that requires thorough mixing according to the proper proportions. The mixed materials must be used within the specified timeframe to prevent gel degradation.

Environmental Conditions:

The humidity and temperature of the application environment affect the application and curing of the floor paint. Humidity should be kept below 85%; temperatures should ideally be between 10-35°C. Avoid application in high or low temperatures.

Precautions during application:

Low temperatures and high humidity can prolong the curing time of floor paint, making it more likely to cause bleeding and delamination.

Apply evenly:
